How far in advance should I book my wedding makeup?
I recommend booking as soon as possible, especially for a Friday or Saturday in peak season, when dates are in high demand. Most brides reach out between six and fourteen months ahead. If your date is closer than that, do get in touch, as dates do sometimes remain available.
Do you offer a trial before the wedding day?
Yes. A trial is where we take the time to find your look together, away from the pressure of the day itself, so that on the morning of your wedding everything feels familiar and calm.
Will you travel to my venue?
I work with brides across the Algarve and beyond, and I am happy to travel to your venue for both the trial and the wedding day.
Can you accommodate sensitive skin or specific skin concerns?
Yes. Your skin is an important part of the process. I adapt my preparation and product choices to you, and always take any sensitivities, allergies or particular concerns into consideration. If there is anything specific you would like me to know beforehand, you are welcome to mention it when you enquire or before your trial, so we can plan accordingly.
How long will my makeup last through the day and into the evening?
Everything is applied to last, from the morning through the ceremony and into the celebrations that follow.
Can you also do makeup for my bridesmaids and family?
Yes, I would love to. Many brides book makeup for their bridal party as well, so that everyone feels as polished and at ease as she does.
Do you leave anything behind for touch-ups during the day?
Every bride receives a small, complimentary touch-up kit to refresh her lipstick or powder throughout the day. My makeup is designed to last, so for most brides there is no need for me to stay longer, though additional touch-up time can be arranged as an optional service for before the ceremony, photographs or later in the celebrations. Whether that would be helpful is something we can decide together after your trial, once we have seen how your makeup wears on your skin — particularly useful for oilier skin, or for a warm and humid day.
How do I secure my date?
A short conversation and a deposit are what hold your date in my calendar. Once you enquire, I will check my availability for your wedding date and location and send you a personalised quote, with the details of the deposit included. Once it is received, your booking is confirmed and we can begin planning your bridal makeup experience together.
What if my wedding is outside Portugal?
Destination weddings are very welcome, wherever you are saying your vows. I would love to talk through the details with you.
